What constitutes surface thoughts during combat? Would I know atleast who the creature would attack? Would I know the kind of attack the would be used (like a breath weapon, a spell, 4 against that annoying cleric that is healing people, ect)? Would I be able to know the overall strategy of a battle if it wasn't an impromptu fight? It allows the user to concentrate to detect the surface thoughts of a creature and requires an action to use.
