I was able to boot to a checkra1n usb and use the command line to start in DFU mode but is there a way to get to DFU mode from recovery mode on a iPhone 8 so I can just use the gui in checkra1n on a Mac? However checkra1n wants the phone in normal mode to begin with. Press vol up, vol down and press and hold power for 10-11 seconds, and then press vol down while still holding power for 5 seconds or so and then let go off power and just keep holding vol down for like 10 secondsįreaking complicated but works.
